Can anyone help with leaky ceiling?

Question:I have a leak in my downstairs ceiling. It appears to be below a bathroom that is upstairs, thing is, the bathroom is dismantled. We pulled up the floor up there and there is no pipe leaking. It is happening in a place that has had a water stain the last four years. It isn't currently raining either. It did rain a few days ago. Is there something quick that I can do to stop the leak? I am moving in a few months and have invested so much money into this house already this year. HELP!!
