Alternative method to putting up "grass cloth" wallpaper?
Question:We are going to do a project in my daughters room. We are adding a "grass cloth" wallpaper to the lower 1/3 of her wall (Surfer theme room). I really don't want to use the wallpaper past to put up the wallpaper and was thinking of using a small staple gun... I would love to hear some suggestions as to alternative methods of putting this up.
Thanks!

If you staple it, you would have to make sure it is tight and staple at the top, bottom and sides, BUT you would have to hide the staples with something. Either wood trim, fabric trim, wide ribbon, something.
If you use the glue for it, I've found that you need to paint the wall a similar color, to this type of wallpaper, for any gaps that peak through.
staple gun would work. is it actual wallpaper, or a grass skirt? if it's wallpaper, then use the glue. if it's a grass skirt type of thing, then use the gun.
Why not do a "faux" grasscloth treatment? Google HGTV/Grasscloth. They do this all the time. Cheaper, easy, and just repaint.
