Just put in a new tile floor in the bathroom. Need Help..?
Question:The tile looks great but now there is a small gap at the bottom of the mold that goes around the wall and it really doesn't look to good. Is there any suggestion as to what can be done to fix it. We have to have the trim to offset the floor from the wall. This isn't a custom home so the wall are straight either. What a mess. Please any advise.

I would purchase Silicone caulk and use it to seal the seam. Pick a color that is close to the tile, or trim color. If you have larger gaps than a 1/4 inch pick up some backer rod. This foam rod will compress to wedge into the trim and provide a stable surface for adhesion.
Do you have any a base shoe? Or just trim molding? Base shoe is 3/4 inch X3/4 inch rounded . You nail the shoe onto the base to cover the gap. Hope this helps
You can cover the gap with shoe moulding which is rounded wood moulding that is 1/2" X 3/4" or quarter round moulding that is rounded wood moulding that is 3/4' X 3/4". Shoe moulding is more flexible than quarter round.
