I need to Feng Shui my bedrooom?
Question:Ok so I'm sorta trying to redo my room and I really want to feng shui it. I've read the answers to other people's questions but it didn't really help cause it wasn't really what I was looking for. My Kua number is 8. I have a small room so it's pretty hard to spread things out. Can you tell me how stuff should be spread out and where things should be set?
Answers:
It depends on which type of Feng Shui you want to use: the new age type of Feng Shui (where everything is generalized and there are no calculations) or the truly traditional Feng Shui (acknowledges individuality and calculations) used in asia. To spot the fake new age Feng Shui schools, they'll claim how your wealth corner is always in one spot which is not true as it depends on the individual and home itself.
Though it's much better to apply Feng Shui for your whole home (which it is meant for), there are few simple things you can do for your bedroom. Since your Kua is 8, trying sleeping with your head point Southwest. In addition to that, try to have the bedboard/head against a wall and not 'floating' in the room (which leads to instability in your life). Never ever use windchimes, mirrors or crystal balls in your room as they're not meant to be used there.
It's good that you learn about the flow of chi and types of chi (which are base fundamentals of good Feng Shui). You want to stop the existing chi from becoming shar (bad) or si (dying) chi. Read up on it here: http://www.smilingbamboo.com/learn-feng-...
Hope this information helps! :)
WHAT????
Make sure that you position your bed so that when you are in it you can see the door and any windows. Having your back to the door or the window leaves you vulnerable and you won't sleep well.
You have to place your bed first. Your bed has a solid wall as the back and you can see the door when you are sleeping.
Then you can arrange your furniture according to your kua.
put those japanese puffy lamps
waterfall or water fountain
black or red bean bags
candles
one of those bridges
i know that you want to know possible things that you can do to fengshui your room, but the truth is there is nothing you can do with a small bedroom. main reason is that you need to include the whole house. with regards to having a kua#8, ms. lillian too did not include one of the proper use of 8 mansions is how to attract wealth using it in the kitchen. additionally, even if you have a good fengshui in your bedroom, but the other parts of the house is not, the effect is not also good; because the fengshui of the other parts of the house also affects you, whether you like it or not.
it is difficult to answer fengshui questions to people who do not know anything about fengshui, and yet they press what they like over the concepts of fengshui. fenghshui does not adjust to people, people adjust to fengshui. reason why in most chinese cities, fengshui masters are first consulted before erecting a building - not the other way around.
the only thing you can do with your bedroom is move your bed to face sw, w, nw or ne. face means, when you lie down, your feet points to one of these directions. but i have to emphasize that this will not change your life for the better. it will change your attitude towards life, but it will not attract good wealth luck nor good health luck.
other people who talks about color in the bedroom, or putting mandarin ducks, or stuffs about windchimes and mirrors - clearly do not know anything about fengshui. i bet that these people got their knowledge from books, not from the masters or practitioners who practice this as a profession.
