WOOD FLOORS - Is Minwax one of the better products?

Question:I have hired somepne to refinish - sand and Poly(3 coats), my wood floors. He will be using Minwax products - is that one of the better products or are there commercial products that would be better. Thanks for sharing your knowledge/experience.

Answers:
"ZAR" products beats minwax hands down, minwax has gone downhill, that might be the only product he can get in your area, good luck Les the painter

that is really a good product.i used it on my hard floor .an they look awsome.
i use a product called waterlox, its basically a unique blend of tung oil and resin. wont chip peel crack or wrinkle, stain can be added. Locks out water household chemies, etc. gives a rich hand rubbed finish, no sanding between coats, touch up anytime, without sanding to bare wood, i use nothing but this. Minwax in my opinion, is old school, there are alot better products, but to each his own. good luck
