Decorating ideas!?

Question:I love to recycle and turn old into new. I need some ideas for creating privacy between my backyard and the new neghbors that are rude and high and mighty. It needs to be something artsy and affordable, and that I can get away with not having a permit for!

Answers:
You could plant bamboo. It grows fast, and does well just about everywhere. Plus, it grows so tall it really becomes more of an architectural space-making element. It'll make shade in your yard, and it doesn't even really need to be watered. And, no permit.

Bamboo is very invasive, so you should plant it in large ocntainers, or someplace where you won't mind it spreading. It can have either elegant or very funky character, depending on whether you trim it and guide the growth.

Put trellis on your neighbors side. Have a lot of hanging flowering plants/ vines to create a curtain between you and them. beautiful and tactful.
You could use old shutters from a house, connect them 2-gether with hinges and sort of make like an " accordian style" fence or even some old screen doors just cover the screens with fabric or paint a mural on them! Other wise if your not in a huge hurry plant lilac bushes, they would work also!
