How about Wagner Airless Paint Sprayers?
Question:I have looked at the airless paint sprayers at Lowes and and also at an online company http://www.erniesequipment.com/... . I am thinking of buying the Wagner 9150. I can get it online for about half the price of Lowes.
Does anyone have experience with this particular model? I don't want the Paint Crew because the hopper on top looks like it would be a bear to clean up. The 9150 - you just remove the suction from the paint bucket and hook up to a garden hose for cleanup.
Anyone
Answers:
If your thinking about spray painting a house or a fence, don't buy wagners or anyone Else's. No matter what you see on TV, you just can't spray paint a house and expect to have the paint be there the next year. The paint HAS to "brushed in" or it just won't stick. On the other hand, pros spray all the time, like this: One man sprays the paint ON and to other men (also professionals), follow him up and brush the paint IN. It's a labor/time saving technique. Now if this is what you intend to do, again, don't buy wagners or anyone Else's sprayer. Rent a REAL paint sprayer from a paint store. Chances are you'll never use your consumer grade 'paint sprayer' ever again anyway.
I hope this helps.
I have a wagner electric sprayer which I do not care for. I bought it at Home Depot, but never really cared for it
It never worked the way I think it should.
you will do fine with this one if you keep the filters in the gun clean and keep the paint strained before putting the nose of the machine in the paint . If you have a partner that has pantyhose they make a great strainer.
