If your house is in white colour u can choose sky blue colour because if you choose this colour you will get more light in your room in night and blue is a very good colour for studies.so my option is to choose blue........

well colors are always a personal choice, in my view
the person who lives there determines the color, like kids, adults,
the room itself has to be important for this, i mean is it a bedroom, study room or etc...
the locality, the climate, the surroundings, the furniture in the room their color and style. well the list goes on and on the more you think and match the better result try to match as much criteria you can
my personal will be any thing from: light orange, sky blue, light green.

it could be any color you want. white goes with everything!
Anything! I might want to warm it up by painting one wall of the room a nice warm gold or red; make the other walls white or a complimenting color. Something that goes with the carpet, furniture and bedding. (I was assuming you meant a bed room.)
