What theme should i go for theres white carpet through the whole house?
Question:im a newlywed my husband and i are moving into our first house together and its decorstion time.! i need some tips and advice on how to make the themes flow..what colors should i use all that good stuff that comes along with it ...anything helps.!

What colors do you like? Any color goes with white, so you just need to decide what the dominate colors are you want to work with.
White or neutral carpets are easy.almost anything goes. The main thing you have to consider is your color flow in your decor throughout the house. It's best to pick wall colors that are consistent in your main areas to create that flow. I chose a neutral sage green in four very similar colors. Taupes are good as well. Whatever you do should be consistent so you can pick furniture and accents that don't conflict. My neutrals popped with reds, eggplants, blacks, yellows and greens. You can be more adventuresome in your bedrooms upstairs and there you can be more theme oriented if you choose. I would be careful being theme oriented in your main rooms in the downstairs. Go through some model homes and you will see what I'm talking about. The designers will have the basics laid out so you can actually see what you can do.

Finally, there's the carpet and paint websites like sherwin williams, where they will let you simulate paint colors on walls of rooms that you can pick from...have fun, and remember, even though there will always be "trends", go with what YOU like and you will be happier!
