Buying countertops for oak cabinets - dark or light colored granite?

dark granite is very hard to clean. but if you like it then it will be worth it. i find it always looks streaky. either would look like but with oak definetly stay away with anything with a grey undertone. For light go toward the cremes or whites and for dark go toward to black, brown or greens.

natural oak? dark... it really makes a statement. My bro did it w/ black & it really looks sharp.
My opinion wold be dark, but it is what grabs your eye that counts
