My granite counter tops look cloudy and would like to have them shiny anyone have any suggestions?

Question:ever since we have had granite counter tops they look cloudy no matter how much i clean them . when they are wet they look great but when they dry they look cloudy . our fabricator told us that is was the granite and how it was cut . if anyone has any suggestions that we can use it would be great .

Answers:
Granite being A natural stone must be cared for as such.
Do not use commercial cleaners on it as this will dry out the surface creating A dull /cloudy appearance.
Your granite needs moisture to remain glossy.
There are products on the market made for this purpose, but they are rather pricey, A better alternative is WD-40 it has A base of fish oil and will restore your shine.
I have personally used it on my granite for over 6 years and it looks as good as the day it was installed.

make a solution of vinegar and water and spray it on the
counter top. use a soft cloth to dry up.
How about trying some commercial floor wax
There are several reasons why this may be happening, including lighting, the sealer used, quality of the polish, etc. The answer for each of these is to consult a prosssional; call your local slabyard.
