How should i paint my room?
Question:okay so we are remodeling our house and my mom is allowing me to paint my room a different color.
im kinda preppy and i LOVE bright colors ... especially pink.
and im also allowed to do stripes or polka dots or anything.
the only rule is that i cant have a CRAZYY color like hot pink or something like that.
so what should i do??

I would paint an all over solid color on each wall, and maybe a different color on one OR opposing walls. (Example: three pink walls, one white wall) If you're going for a color that isn't too loud, try pastels. I would do a pastel green (so under rated!), because pastel blue can be too cool and pink can be a little too much. Have yellow and pink accents, like pillows and art prints.
Pick out the paint colors you want and then get some matching decals!
Because you're 14, you'll probably want to change your style a little bit as you get older and stripes/polka dots etc. in paint can look messy. Decals are the perfect solution because they look perfect and you can move/remove them as you wish.

I painted my room pink when I was about your age, and my mom hated it. I would suggest picking out a color that you already having going in your room, maybe from your comforter or a poster. Most color places can color match just about anything. Another suggestion would be to paint each wall a different color.
What a great Mom you have! Now, I would start with your fave colour [pink] and have this as your base colour. A white ceiling will give height and dimension. Soft/ish pink walls then a feature wall in hot pink! This one [feature wall] would most likely be the one behind your bed. You then work around these main looks. Your robe [closet] doors could be in a combination of soft pink/white/tiny bit of hot pink in stripes on the panels or a border of one of the colours around the edge of the doors. Just let your imagination go! Your could have white or soft pink drapes, with a splash of hot pink [as the tie backs or a pelmet over the top of the curtains]. You could have a hot pink blind. Again let your imagination go! Your could have a hot pink rug, a hot pink lamp shade or h/p bed spread and cushions all would be features in keeping with your likes and Mom's instructions. You will just have to choose which one/s you prefer and which ones Mom will agree to. Have a good think and fun and good luck!
