Answers:
Both are really nice.
Are you sharing a room?
Thick striped
Looks fresh, fun and bold
Thin striped
Looks fresh and you can punch up the room with a fun wall colour and accessories. It will grow with you. Most people don't buy bedding every year so when you are 16 you will still like it and be able to make the room look more elegant.
So.I would go with the white with thin stripes. If you are sharing a room use a light pink/purple or blue/purple colour on the walls, white trim. You can even wall paper the ceiling in a matching print to the wall colour.have fun! If you are not sharing a room you can use any of the colours in your bedding. Accessories, throws, cushions, fake/real plants (warms up any room) pick three colours, eg. white, silver, purple.
well in my opinion it think the striped on is better, because it has more color. the other one has more white than it has color, and its hind of dull.
hehe I'm a boy so i feel awquard answering this but if you ask me, the one with the pink stripes looks more 12-16ish and the other looks 20+ so if you wanna make it looks more sophisticated and older, go for the other or more kiddish the one with the striped = )
Your second choice [flat colours] with accessories to your liking in the same or contrasting colours of your original choice. Some ideas are your quilt, scatter cushions, rug, curtains/drapes, blind, floor rug, lamp shade, chandelier, dresser stool and bathroom accessories.
I like both striped ones; and the other one I like with the pink and the blue. What would be great is that either of the striped ones could be mixed and matched with the other (in pink/blue). Like you could do the white with the edging in the sheets and you each could pick the pink and blue stripe for your beds in the comforter (or the other way around).
