What type of paint would work best on rough birch cabinent doors? They've been stained & painted?

Question:We have sanded them and they still look rough. They used to have these awful little wood strips that made them look like barn doors.

Answers:
I would use any acrylic based paint because it looks good and it will cover anything. Only problem is that if your wood is dark, you have to do a lot of priming so no colors bleed through.
