Question:
Answers:
I would do either a dark forest/hunter green or rich chocolatey brown. But it depends on roofing, the neighbors, and possibly even your cars.
Go Barnhouse Red
I would do a dark green or teal.
go with the feng shui ... RED
Forest green. Goes very well with cream colors.
How about a bright red brick color or a wine or Burgundy?
Dark Blue
i was really thinking red
If you want maximum poppage, I'd go for a sky blue (maybe a slightly darker shade).
Red would be best. Plus they say that a red door is very inviting.
red or blue.
red always pops.
I have a similar color scheme and a dark teal green looks great.
The best color you could go with would probably be a deep chestnut brown. You need a very warm and inviting color, and brown offers this. The house will offer different shades and variations of one main color: brown. This helps to create balance but also interest in the house because of the different variations of color.
sincerly Kate
hope this helps
I would say sage green but since you want the door to pop I would go with a deep red, dark green, black or navy blue.
I think from what you are telling me, a rich dark hunter green
Red will definitely pop, as would a Kelley green.
Chocolate brown, or failing thank a "Lincoln green" tone
A natural wood color like mahogany for a dark door or oak for a light door with an oval glass in the center of it. You can get a metal door which has a wood like surface for staining to look like wood and then seal.
A Golden yet with an eggshell or low luster / sheen Finish
I love the look of wood, so I would stain the door a deep maghony color. and the pop out would be the wreath that you add to the door. Accent with many flowers or greenery and even the white accent during Christmas would stand out.
I know that the steel doors can be stained just like real wood. and the wood grain will come thru.
