What is thr Going Rate for a Handyman?

Question:What is thr Going Rate for a Handyman?
I am having a Hard Time Charging for my services. I try for 300.00 But never seem to get that.I see many Contractors Driving Nice cars etc. Here I work My Heart out and always seen to lose out?

Answers:
I noticed you did not specify in which area of the u.s you reside (as it makes a small diff. in pricing ) But to answer your question in a broad sense $40-$60 hr. for labor plus materials of course. If you are bidding against other contractors and the economy is slow , you might want to stay on the lower end for labor. And most of the nice stuff you see people driving or have as toys does not mean their income is large, it just means they have good credit!

I would think that it would depend on what area you live in. Here in Kansas, the going rate is $30/hour.
I charge right around 20.00 per hour, that will change depending on the area you live in. i am out in the country so i dont have access to that many customers keeping my price down keeps my phone ringing!
