How do you price a home improvement job?

i usually charge about 18 to 25 dollars an hour per pers on the job plus material and i always get the money for materials up front just in case they try to screw with me
go to home depot and pick up a means estimating guide in there it will show charts for different steps keep in mind that these are guide and you will have to adjust your pricing as needed .The steps are a little confusing but study it You will find it very help full
