What type of bath is best?
Question:is porcelan, ceramic, enamel, plastic or other?

A friend, who lives in a small cottage, had mimimal hot water supply. No central heating. In winter the bath, a big cast iron victorian thing, was a mare to use. Cold, cold iron, saps the heat out of hot water. Modern good quality acrylic baths are very durable and efficient, light to carry/install, large range of designs/sizes. I'd go for them.

Depends on your budget.
Ours is cast iron. Very heavy to install!!
It's simply a matter of personal preference.
