How do i make spaces for baby when i live in one bed room apt with my husband?
Question:I have average side living room and bedroom.. and we have a lot of stuff..Plan to do storage.. but no time yet..
I know i may need a lot of stuff for my baby.. like crib, baby car seat and so much more... and i have small kitchen and really small bathroom that can fit one person maybe two sometime depend on that person size.. I am trying to make space for my baby.. that is not due until Oct. and i would be moving until next year to bigger places..hopefully right now two people in this apt is fine but extra person would be more less spaces if though it little baby boy or girl.
I Only know few things i may need for my baby when it here like crib, diaper, food... and few toys.. but there so much more things we need... and i donot have that much spaces... i been trying to clean up some spaces for things.. but it seem so less spaces... And i know about storage places...but with baby stuff would not have spaces because of all they stuff.. :( .

You don't need that much stuff trust me. You need a crib and a car seat, and I would recommend a stroller. Aside from that just the normal diapers and such.
I probably used my changing table twice. Definately wasn't worth it. By toys that grow with the child.
Your baby will hang in there for the first year or so until you get a bigger place!
Your only option is to move into a bigger appartment. You need one that has at least 2 bedrooms. Your baby needs it's own room and to store all of the stuff.

i would use your closets for your husband. add some windows, a sink, and alot of mirrors to make it look bigger! put in a hot tub and snack bar! maybe like a mini pool?? that would be great. i'm glad i could help out!
The only way is to move in another appartment because that is what i did too!
If the baby is due in October, and you plan to move next year anyway, it isn't going to be a problem. An infant only needs a bassinet, or a small sized crib, not a full sized one, and that will tide you over until you move. Baby can sleep in the same room with your for the first few months -- you'll want him/her there anyway, so you can hear when the baby wakes up during the night. And babies do wake up during the night. The car seat can stay in the car, so that won't be a problem. Diapers will stack in a box under the crib or bassinet, and food will fit in the cupboard just fine. When you move into a 2-bedroom apartment, you'll be able to expand, but for the first few months you will be just fine.
Make use of VERTICAL spaces in your place for now. The baby won't be pulling himself up for a while, so it's not a problem if you get more shelving and under-bed storage units. Try looking at Target or somewhere like that for closet/shelving organizers, hat boxes that are cute but have storage.
The collapsible mesh laundry baskets are huge and they have handles which makes toting around laundry very easy. Then you can wash,dry, fold and bring home quite a lot in a couple of them. Walgreens usually has them and they're inexpensive.
You could put up a clothesline or something like that across the "nursery area" and then slide on some rings and nice fabric shower curtains to create the illusion of another "room" where the crib is. Then for convenience, you could just use an opening to walk in & out and close when baby is sleeping.
Double the poles in the closets for hanging items on one side and leave the other side for long things. A storage trunk can serve as a coffee table & storage inside.
If there is luggage you are not using, pack stuff in there in the meantime for storage. Metal baskets can be hung from the ceiling for storage.

I always enjoy HGTV, its all about making Space for things in small rooms. Try a Dresser or room divider in your bedroom to define your space from babys. Your baby is definetly gonna needs its own dresser and of course a crib. Take a Third of the bedroom and allow that for baby. Congratulations on your upcoming addition.
First you must make a great cleaning, to throw off everything that you have not used in the last year, then in the last six months.
Sencond: You could put some shelves on the top doors and windows, to place books, discs, or small boxes with things, that you dont use frequently. Also youn can keep stoff under the bed or your couch.
