How would i turn my garage into a room?
Question:i have to make it a cat room because my roomate is allergic. We also live in arizona so it gets super hot so the room has to be nice and cool. plz help!

Your best plan of action is to get a professional to give you a bid...You will have to have A/C ducted in and you will need to insulate the exterior walls to keep the cool air in...also the cieling needs to be insulated...Most garages are not insulated in the walls or the cieling..good luck
You are going to need a small window unit A/C. Period. It's just too hot for kitties to survive out there in the AZ heat. Make sure to weatherstrip the cracks around doors and windows - it'll save you a ton of $$ in power bills. Small A/C go for around $100. Make sure there aren't any nasty chemicals sweet kitties might get into. If you own the house, you could re-insulate the room and close in the garage door.
