Creatin new room?
Question:hey i just moved into my new apartment. i have a small romm with not much furniture. i have a 8 by 9 foot room i no small.
i need a good chep way to decorate it.
its color is blue but it can be changed.
i was thinking of taking old 80s recordes and puing them all over one of my four walls. and coloring it dark purple. or maybe just using 75s (record) as a boarder.
i was even thinkin of black calkboard paint for my desk so i can draw on it.
do you got any good CHEAP ideas that fit into my rock theme.

I saw a show once where they covered a whole wall with cd's. It was cool! They shimmer anyway and with a bright color on the other walls, it will reflect that as well. If you can't cover a whole wall, a border of cd's will look cool, too! You just glue them on - can't get any easier than that.
the record idea is super cute!! especially if you have unwanted records already or live close to a good will!!
and i love the idea of chalkboard paint! for art, like over your bed you could tape off a border and paint inside...that way you have instant "art"... take copies of fave photos and make a collage on cardboard or canvas and hang it on the wall!
mirrors..found anywhere- goodwill, thrift store..etc... hang small ones in a group to give a funky vibe... mirrors also make rooms look bigger!
curtains: find old clothes or funky fabric from a thrift store or walmart... if you cant sew, get a hot glue gun and glue em! you cant tell the difference except there is no seam! and dont be afraid to put a couple of fabrics together for a layered look...
it looks like you got it together already I don't think I want to touch your lay out.
the cheapest way to make a difference in any room is PAINT...it's great. pick a color and the rest will fall into place
