What's the best weather proof finish for Mailboxes?
Question:I need a good weatherproof clear coat finish to put on my mailbox. I have painted a nice scene in acrylic paint, and now I'd loke to preserve it for awhile. What kind of finish won't peel, flake or fade? Or damage the acrylic paint??

at lowes-get american tradition spray paint in the gloss clear acryllic paint-its about $5
Bring it to a GOOD Automotive body shop, tell them you want them to "Clear coat" it, they'll "Shoot" it, and it will last forever, if you can keep it out of direct sunlight, it will last longer (U.V. light Destroys paint, automotive paint/ clear coat has U.V Inhibitors in it).
