How to fix Feng Shui in the bedroom if the foot of my childs bed has to face out the bedroom door What to do?.
Question:We are moving to a new house and in my childs bedroom the bed will have to have the foot of the bed facing out the bedroom door. I have heard that this is not good feng shui. Is there something I can do or put in the room to rectify this issue and make the room good feng shui. Thanks

Try to make sure that the bedhead is against a wall (stability in life) and not 'floating' (lack of stability in life) in the room. You child's head or feet should not point directly at the door, this is how the dead are ceremonially laid and taken out traditionally (not very auspicious).
If this is the only layout possible, try to use something to block the door's view from the bed, such as one of those folder barriers used for changing behind.
To some extent, it is good to face the door. It is never good to have the view of the door, from the bed, blocked. If you are concerned about the flow of chi, you can always hang a mobile or windchime from the ceiling of the child's room.
There are several schools of thought within Feng Shui. Therefore, I tend to think there is no one concrete right or wrong.
Crystals are also good for energizing areas.
When you mentioned the bed faces the bedroom door, does it face directly as in, when you're standing at the bedroom doorway, is the bed immediately in front of you? If it is not, (as in the bed is placed diagonally from the doorway) then it is fine.
I'd be more concerned whether there is a beam above where your childs head is sleeping on the bed. That is definitely not good.
As for crystals, they energize both good and bad chi, so use them with care.
if the door is directly in straight path with the stairs, then it is bad.
if the door is directly in straight path with the main door to outside, then it is bad.
if there is a wall outside the door, then it is okay.
there is generally no cause for concern for this. because it is only the bedroom. fengshui is about the whole house, not just the bedroom. like what is located above and below your kid's bedroom? if it's a toilet or a kitchen, then it is a bad thing, which has no remedy but to move the bedroom or where your kid sleeps.
If possible, move the bed.
Or place a screen between the door and the bed.
