How to line a dresser drawer?
Question:i have looked all over for drawer liner to line my unborn nephews dresser drawer. the only thing i could find was liner for kitchen cabinets. so i bought some of that. the self adhesive kind but it wouldnt stick because there was no primer on it, it was just raw wood. i didnt want to go through priming all the drawers so i decided maybe wallpaper would be better and easier. what do people usually use to line dresser drawers and how do you do it on raw wood?

My mother in-law taught me to use freezer paper. It comes in nice wide rolls that will fit the depth of most drawers. Just cut a bit more from the roll than you need and fold the edges under. There's no need to attach it to the drawer itself, since it is stiff enough to stay put. You could probably use unpasted wallpaper too. I wouldn't use any sort of adhesive as it would make the paper difficult to remove if it became torn or stained.
don't use wallpaper, it's not designed to be used on wood. you can buy felt at a sewing or material store and it's easy to install using spray contact cement. it comes in a lot of different colors so you can be creative. good luck!
Try Felt. It is sold at craft stores. Put a drop of glue under each corner.
