Home Interior program that uses digital pictures?
Question:Is there a program where I can use digital photos of actual rooms in a home and recolor the walls, etc. and possible add and move things around to get the look of a renovation before it is done?
Answers:
I am an interior decorator and my company specializes in providing these services for the client over the Internet using computer software.

if you are looking for a program so you can do the work yourself try better home and gardens (chief architect) design programs, that's what we use, But I often find that I end up using different programs for different services, so I have a favorite for just doing colour and another for space planning, or sometimes I will do both on one program, depends on the job.
the sims 2 is 3d but not with dig pics
I am a professional interior designer and wish that there was such a program at an affordable price. On Sherwin Williams website there is a place where you can do color images, but not exact rooms from your own pictures. You might consider contacting a local college with an interior design program and hiring a student to do drawings. They don't ask for much pay and it will give them something to put on their resume and in their portfolios, and you will get your drawings for the same price or less than a computer program!

Microsoft Picture It! Premium 10
Lets you cut images from your digital photos and merge them with another.
i.e photo of an empty room with cut and pasted decor added /merged.
It also lets you change colors, tint, hue, saturation, light and dark, etc.
My daughter is a designer for Home Depot and uses it.
The software was $45 at Office depot or Office Max...I forget which...but it also had a $20 instant rebate when we bought it.
She is pleased with it.

Yes there is and it's a God send. Now we can avoid making major mistakes when changing things - even if it's just paint colour.
It's available through Home Hardware in Canada. Try

The produce is on page 163 and is called Home Works. It's $24.97 Cdn. If you are not in Canada, you'll need a postal code to enter for the "nearest" store - try N5P 2L5. You can contact them about mailing it to you.
I know I have really heavy furniture and a lot of it (too much) and every wall is blocked so it's handy for me to see if it's going to really be worth the effort to move the furniture and paint.
Good luck.
p.s. if Home Hardware will not mail orders out, you can contact me at nascarlad24fan2005@yahoo.ca and I can see if I can pick up one and list it on E-Bay for you or we could make other arrangements. Just please be sure to put in the subject line in all caps "HOME HARDWARD DECORATING PROGRAM" so I catch your note. It's much easier working from your digital camera and they probably have certain paint shades built in for accuracy.
