I have a poster thats 38 by 50 so it's $300 to frame it, any creative ideas of how to hang it without framing

Maybe you could go to home depot or lowes and buy some molding and cut it to create your own frame...use something to back the poster with too...should only be at the most $60 for all of it. ?

Take it to a printing place and put it on poster board. Should only cost around $20-$30. Then you can put a string on the back with tape and hang it on a small nail.

use mounting tape at the back of your poster - it's cheap, quick to install and will not ruin your wall paint

fasten it on all 4 sides

buy some mounting board, a utility knife, a yardstick & some rubber cement
also---check out thrift stores--you can buy a frame with glass for cheap cheap
