Mint/chocolate comforter. mahogany bed& moulding.room has chair railings.what color walls?

Question:

Answers:
I immediately thought "Mocha" It would compliment the rich tone of the Mahogany and also match well with the chocolate of the comforter while being light at the same time. I also like the suggestion of the "lemon ice" color and if the room is quite large you could get away with a dark blue... but sometimes that makes the room feel too small after a while. Any shade of pale green could potentially work nicely as well. If you have crown molding, go with bone white as it breaks the eye's attention and gives a feel of space. Eggshell or cream for the ceilings.

I would go with a color in the same shade as the mint in the comforter on the top half of the walls and then white on the bottom or you could do it the other way with white on top and mint on the bottom. If you want to bring in other colors go for a lemon ice (very pale lemon color) or even a purple or a pale blue. Just have fun. Good luck!!
You could try white walls, or a beige color with a stained moulding..remember the lighter the colors are the more others colors(such as curtains, throw rugs, and accessories) will "pop" against the more neutral colors.
I like the idea of using the colors in your comforter. I would do the mint above the chair rail and a chocolate color below. They also make drapes/curtains with those colorways (blue, green, etc. on the top, with a chocolate brown on the bottom).

I think that gives a very sophisticated look.
