DO NOT take it to an antique dealer!! many, many of them are rip-offs and will screw you bad. they will offer you say $10,000 for something they know is worth $100,000!! only take them to an appraiser, they do not buy and sell only appraise, they charge a fee but won't steal you blind!
Take your antiques to an antique dealer and ask them what they would sell it for. Or maybe you should try calling Antique Road Show. Good Luck on that one!
do an e-bay past auction search,it will give you an idea
Taking them to an appraiser is an excellent idea as one person said but you can also go to a library and do some research on your items
