Feng Shui - Red wall?
Question:Is it good to paint the wall across the front door RED?
Answers:
It really depends on your auspicious/inauspicious directions and sectors which is dictated by your Kua number. Find your Kua number here: http://www.smilingbamboo.com/feng-shui-k...
If there are multiple occupants in the home, priority goes to the bread winner. In general, red is known as an enhancer/amplifier which means it's a double edged sword (enhance the bad or enhance the good).
Absolutely not. That is very bad Feng Shui. The only color, one and only color, no other color is ever, ever allowed is...
Gamecock burgandy, Go Cocks.
God Bless
Its great if you're talking about the outside wall, where the front door is. Even better if its the door itself. But before committing to it, check first if the colour is agreeable with the main breadwinner of the household. http://www.wofs.com/
sounds cool to me our front door is painted with a town and ocean and its really cool i like funky house entrances so i say yes but that's just me sooo
good luck!=)
the color red can activate both good and bad energies. in fengshui, it is typical to calculate and analyze the energy of a location. if it has good energy based on your calculation, then it is safe to paint it red - as the the red will activate the good energy, which will contribute to your good luck. but if the area has a bad energy, painting it red can contribute to your bad luck. so, get a fengshui auditor or practitioner, and have the area analyzed.
I wouldn't really be too keen on that.we painted our front door a gorgeous glossy cherry red to rev up our finances and just stir up some energy - wow - the results were so impressive! So, red is incredibly powerful and by painting a whole wall red, you might unwittingly bring in a wave of disruptive, chaotic energy instead of healthy, positive, abundant vibrations.

It all depends on the location of your door.
Find out the direction and the related trigram.
Check if the trigram needs the red/fire elements.
Every sector of a house has 'qi' or energy. The type of 'qi' may be good or bad. They may be represented by a set of numbers or given a name depending on the system of Feng Shui.
Red represents fire, which is one of the elements in the Five Element set. In the productive cycle fire, enhance earth and if the particular area has earth 'qi' then painting the wall red (meaning fire) can produce the 'qi' in the area.
The trouble is earth 'qi' can be good or bad. In the Flying Star system the energy represented by the numbers 2 and 5 are inauspicious. Therefore the red wall (fire) can make things worse.
On the other hand, if the earth energy has the number 8, it is auspicious and fire (red wall) enhances it making the area more auspicious.
