How do you paint a house??

Question:i cant paint my house cause i dont know how!

Answers:
with paint and a paint brush or roller

more info please- inside- out. frames or walls?
take PAINT tin. open PAINT tin. dip PAINTbrush into PAINT tin. take out of PAINT tin. PAINT. lol
start at the top and work down
first you have to pressure wash it then seal all cracks with caulk then the first coat should be a primer sealer then the top coat u can use rollers and brushes or you can rent a airless paint sprayer and spray it before you spray you have to tape off any place where you dont want paint but once the prep is done the sprayer is a faster way
I bought some second hand paint once!the problem was ,it came in the shape of a house!I Always use my step ladder, cause i dont get on with my real ladder!
painting ones house seems very easy when people say so but there is a lot to do.....
first u hv 2 finalize which colour do u want to paint in different walls then u hv 2 see whether it matches with the furniture or not....
then get the same colours from the market....
n paint brushes 2....
then get in touch with a painter who is reasonable as well as good in his work....
then call that person everyday and make him do the work properly.....
the most important thing is that if u paint a house then u cant live in that place n u will hv to live in some another place till then so it isnt easy baby!!!!!!
Go to your local home improvement store. There isnt enough info listed here to help you and you are going to need help.
Right - here goes.
I will try and cover every possibility.
Outside.
First of all, all woodwork needs to be sanded down to a smooth surface. Wipe over with a damp cloth or use a big paint brush to clear dust. Undercoat using Dulux Trade (only available from paint shops or builders centres (B&Q dulux is the cheap version) and Gloss using Dulux trade - it is down to you which colours or finishes you want.
Buy a tidy brush about 2-5 pounds each. (TIP when using a paintbrush within 2-3 weeks, don't wash it with turps just store it in a jam jar filled with enough water to cover the bristles)
If you are painting masonary (stone, render, etc) then use Dulux weathershield Masonary paint - very expensive but the best, next best is Sandtex but limited colours.
Depending on the coarseness of the walls use a roller. The rougher the texture - the longer the hairs need to be on the roller. Start at the top and cut in the edges with a brush then roller the rest. - you will prob need two coats (not fur coats though as these can get quite warm - that is a joke).
Don't be afraid to really lash it on, don't use sparingly - you will get a patchy finish.
The correct order outside is:
Prepare all woodwork,
undercoat woodwork,
Paint walls - 2 coats,
Then finish with Gloss all woodwork.

Are you still reading? and even awake?

Inside.
Start by preparing all woodwork again and undercoating.
Next emulsion walls, depending on finish, either Vinyl Silk, Vinyl Matt or Vinyl soft sheen.
Silk is very hard wearing but very shiny, Matt is preferred by most as it is a dull finish and looks warmer. Soft sheen is a healthy medium, having the durability of silk and dullness of matt. My preferred paint.
Use two coats again. lol
(that is assuming that the walls are in a good condition - if not fill in any defects using a ready mixed filler and when hard sand the whole wall.)
then finish the woodwork with either Gloss, Satinwood or Eggshell, (Satinwood and Eggshell is almost identical and is more durable.)
Inside it is better to use a short haired roller unless there is artex on the walls and ceiling, then a long haired roller is best.
Start with the preparation
Undercoat the woodwork
Emulsion the ceiling
Emulsion the walls
Finish woodwork.
The best emulsion to use is Dulux trade, but we use Macpheresons - this is fantastic emulsion but gloss is rubbish.
Otherwise use Crown.
The same goes with gloss and eggshells.
Failing all this - get a professional in, they are professionals for a reason.

Have fun
No one can tell you how, and help you. You need to be shown, on site. Better still, if it is desperate, get a painter in, then get some lessons in decorating, so that you can handle things in the future.
now is the time to learn a golden opportunity
