At what square footage is a house considered a mansion?

Question:

Answers:
"There is no strict definition of how many rooms a house has to have before it can be termed a mansion, but realtors generally use the classification for houses with at least 7,000 square feet of floorspace."

well it really depends on your opinon. i think that anything aboe 6,000 sq feet is really big not quite a mansion. Mansions I think start at around 7-8 thousand feet but again it really depends on your opinion
