Venetian Plaster Questions?

Question:I am going to do my bedroom with venetian plaster and i want to make sure it has a really super shine to it when im done like allot of the pictures im seeing on the computer. What should I apply to the walls at the end to make it super shine besides burnishing it allot.

I coated the last wall with a sealer of non-yellowing polyurethane. It comes in a variety of finishes, so you can choose from matte to high gloss. It was the first time we sealed it and we will do it again. It protects the "work" from dirt and grime (particularly around light switches) makes it easier to clean and gives it a wonderful glow.
