Removing gloss paint from a carpet?

Question:does anyone know how to remove gloss out of a carpet?

if it is a water based paint use denatured alcohol,put some on the tip of a rag and dab it ,it will come out ,it may take a few attempts but it will work without harming the carpet, if it is an oil based paint use paint thinner or mineral spirits and use the same dabbing method, but now you need to be careful and dab lightly as if you dab too hard you will remove the dye fron the carpet.painting contractor
