Redo room?
Question:my family is putting on a 2nd floor...our house is very small...i want a cute theme, not the beach, maybe flowers b/c my name is lily please give pics, and i really like pbteen.

You dont have to have a theme just to have splashes of color. What do you like to to. Hair and makeup .. make a salon styled bedroom with an area for mirrors and drawers with accessories.
Do you like music?
Do a recording studio room , complete with karaoke machine.
Do you like art?
Make your room and artist retreat.
If you like the Lily theme. Draw in pencil flowers or lilys, and paint them in with acrylic paint. you can attach artifcial flowers on ribbons and use them like they have the beads dangling from doorways. Or use them on top of curtians. MAke a flower box outside of your window. Paint clouds on the ceiling.
OR have a room like PUNKY BREWSTER!! I always liked her eccltic taste!
find something that you like and go from there. Do you like swimming? dancing? volleyball? winter sports? Hawaiian? Maybe a castle theme- more adult than kiddie. Go to HGTV.com and find rate my room- search for bedrooms for ideas.
If you want to go with the flowers theme, you can buy flower "wallies" that you wet and stick to the walls like wallpaper. We used them in my daughter's room and they look great. You can find them at any wallpaper store, Target, Wal-Mart, etc. or you can go to www.wallies.com to find them. They have a lot of different patterns, not just flowers.
lily flowers would be very pretty but dont paint them on the walls. do a very light pink color on the walls with a cream color on the trims maybe even paint the roof cream if possible then get some fake lily flowers from any garden store with a very pretty vase and maybe set them on a night stand or dresser. get a grassy looking comforter and maybe go with a light green carpet not too dark bcit would throw off the walls get lots of the fake lily to put in vases on tables but dont put too much many people over do it trying to stick to the theme. let me know if you like this idea bc im trying to make up my mind on going to college for interior design.
