What wall color would match my furniture?
Question:My Furnitutre is black. My tv is on a black stand is silver. My Cd palyer is silver. Hardwood floors. The current wall color is sky blue. I thought about painting it silver, but i have seen peoples rooms that were silver, it really showed the imperfections in their walls. My wall is made of plaster. So any suggestions? Also, I intend to buy a papasan chair soon, what color should it be? Thank you.

Use a bold color like a red or a royal blue. You have a very masculine pad, so go with a manly color. Go to Lowe's or Home Depot and check out their color options. With the black and silver in your place, you need some color.
you can either go for a tone darker of grey blue that would compliment the other wall or go for a more warmer tone with matching pillows and wall decor to cut the black. don't forget the area rugs that will ties all the colors and make it interesting.
if you have black and silver furniture you have a fairly open pallet and its just a matter of taste from then on and as far as silver is concerned its a matter of the gloss on the wall glossy paints will show dents and nicks in the walls thats why its more common for people to use flat paint on their walls because its more forgiving when you have older walls that have been patched and "lived in" something to consider is that if you have another room that you can see you might want to think of making those colors blend well togther. sounds like its a real bathcelor pad I would personally suggest a dolphin grey type of color its not silver and its not black just keep in mind that its a cool color so it might make the room feel a bit cold you could also do a beige color or even a choclate brown but i think from your decor it sounds like grey would be a good color
