Right size?

Question:I am considering purchasing a chandelier that has the following dimensions: 27¼ W x 22¾ H. The chandelier will be centered over a 54” glass top table, but the room is only 10’L x 9’W, with 8ft ceiling. Even though the chandelier is the ok size for the table (1/2 the width of the table), is it ok for the room size?

That room is to small for a chandelier, a flush mount light fixture would be more to the rooms dimensions

I would say yes. Make it a pretty dining room. The ceiling mount idea, is not a good one.
