I have settee i need to fix the spring in the bottom all the fabric is very good shape

Does it have coil springs or zigzag? If it's a coil you'll have a dickens of a time getting in there to fix it without damaging your fabric. If it's a zigzag, you can get to it from underneath to replace it, then just recover the bottom with black interfacing.
