Did I do the right thing?
Question:I need to reroof a flat fourplex building and decided today to go with Home Depot putting a GAF roof on. The cost is $18,000 for 3,300 sq ft. of roof I am worried now that I am paying too much and am considering breaking the contract before 3 days pass. The sales man talked me out of tar and gravel saying that it won't last. I am wondering if I am paying too much for the GAF? It's this new rubber roofing that is supposed to last virtually forever. Does anyone know?

I don't know if you did the right thing, but I suggest you call some roofing companies and ask what they charge for the work you want done so you have a general idea of what is a reasonable cost to pay. Get 3 estimates before you make your decision. Good luck.
