Where can I find inexspensive restaurant furniture?

Question:

Answers:
If you are in or close to a larger city, you will probably find a restaurant equipment supply outlet ( check your yellow pages, usually under "Restaurant Supply") They may also carry furniture or they can put you onto somewhere that does. The turnover rate in restaurants is high, which means with openings and closings, there is usually an abundance of used, commercial furnishings on the market. They would know, or you can also find used restaurant equipment and furnishings in the yellow pages. I have sourced out and reused seating, banquettes, table tops or table bases etc, and have often just reupholstered, repainted or relaminated these items at a considerably lower cost than buying new. If you are using these items in a restaurant installation, I would strongly advise you not settle for residential quality, as the frames would not handle the wear and tear, and you would be replacing or repairing often.

try auctions. usually people sell all sorts of random things.
Inquire to the proprietor of an out of business restaurant-or an auction or sale

Remember cheap furniture looks cheap and ppl will notice-If I am paying for ambiance,I don't want to sit on furniture from Ikea or Target
