Bedroom colours...?

Question:Everybody knows the colour your chose to paint your room with says something about the person, or creates an atmosphere. What does turquoise say? I chose it because it feels really fresh and clean, would you all agree?

Answers:
Turquoise is beautiful but I generally prefer bold colors in spaces where I entertain (i.e., the kitchen and living rooms) and milder colors in places where I go to unwind (i.e., bedrooms and bathrooms.) Turquoise is also very trendy right now (esp. when paired with brown and/or white) so it may look outdated in a few seasons. You are right that the color should say something about you, though. If you feel that your furniture would look good with turquoise and it is your favorite color, then by all means, paint your bedroom turquoise. Good luck!

It is my room colour..& it is relaxing in light shades
If you paint your walls turquoise I'd tend to think you are a generally happy, spunky morning person.

Am I close?

Yes. I think it is a fresh, clean feeling color.

I love turquoise for my clothing, but chose a really dark reddish brown for my bedroom walls. In part, I like it because it feels cozy and romantic (and the room is pretty big) and in part because it is a color on which my husband and I agreed. Six years later I still love it.
I would agree..brown goes well with turqouise
Yes. I have a bathroom in turquoise, because it makes me think of the ocean and a spa.
