Questions about decorating!?

Question:Im moving and the master bedroom is really small ...and my bed is a king size.how can i allow myself more room which such a large bed

Answers:
Is there another larger room in the house you can convert into the master suite? Perhaps eveb the basement if it can be revamped. Take a look at the way the rooms are situated in the house and see is you can change things around.

You could do away with dressers by getting the rolling containers that you can put folded clothes in and then roll them under you bed. They make them just for that. You should be able to find them at Target, K-Mart, maybe Wal-Mart. Get a headboard with compartments large enough to do away with nightstands.
set your dresser in your closet. attach swing arm lights on the wall beside the bed...
put the bed against one wall.
Attach narrow (floating) shelves to the wall behind the bed or to the side instead of nightstands (at Ikea or Pottery barn etc); wall mounted lighting; store all clothing under bed (on roll out drawers) or in closet so no dresser; make whatever you have in there multiuse.
Try making for the lost space by using creative storage solutions... like underbed storage, doible duty pieces and stuff like that... furniture stores are full of such items! but always keep enough space for traffic and opening drawers.

For the feeling of a smaller bed use light colors with no patterns if you like that!
