What colour?
Question:my bathroom has white and bergandy tiles. what colour should i paint the walls so it matches - i dont want burgandy wall coz it would be too much.

well if you wanted to punch it up i've seen yellow w/ white and burgundy... i have also seen a light tan... these may sound like grose colors together but when you see the right shades its really beautiful
Maybe a light cucumber?
You could offset the two with another rich color such as a darker blue or forest green.
You could do a treatment in shades of gold to make it look like leather. Or you could paint the wall white, then add a navy blue stripe around the room with a very thin burgandy line.

Do you live anywhere close to a wallpaper store? By using wallpaper you could have a palette of colors that could include the burgundy and the white but not limit you to just those choices. To me it is very much like saying "what taste should I add to this food, sweet or sour?" A melange of flavors or colors is much more fun AND easier to live with over time. If you are on a tight budget you can just look for close out or odd lot bundles. A typical bathroom will only need about 8 single / 4 double rolls of paper. When I was in design school we lived in an apartment with the worlds tackiest bathroom. I said it was "Mickey Mouse". We luckily found some kids "Mickey Mouse" wallpaper on close out and our bathroom became an instant hit. Hanging paper does take a little know edge and patience. Of the two patience is the most important, if you have no patience bribe a friend to help. Good Luck!
