How long should I wait between coats of paint?

Question:

Answers:
Drying time varies with paints and the weather, but any where from 4 to 6 hours will usually do it. Feel your paint in an inconspicuous place and then you know for sure. Hope this helps.

A good hour, but then again it depends on how thick the paint and surface is.
just keep watching until they are dry. That`s a joke by the way
should tell you on the tin but i would sat ay least 2 hours!!

p.s., i love your second answer!!
If it is flat latex, 30 minutes to the touch and 2-4 hours for complete dryness. The higher the sheen, the longer it will take to dry. Wait 2 hours before recoating.
READ THE LABEL! That's what it's there for.
Read the instructions on the can
If you are using latex paint (water base) then you only need to wait about 1 hour for it to dry and cure. Once it is dry to the touch you can put another coat on. If you are using oil paint you need to wait until the next day so it will cure enough it won't pull off when you put a second coat.
