Answers:
It isn't "toast" nor is it ruined, especially if you plan on reupholstering. Try Lift Off's "Latex Paint Remover." You can buy it at Lowe's Home Improvement.
Latex Paint Remover is a patented breakthrough formula that removes fresh latex paint as well as dried old paint from all surfaces including concrete, carpeting, and clothing. It quickly and effectively removes all types of latex-based paint from painting equipment such as brushes, rollers and spray tips. It is great for removing surfaces with overspray. No matter what the surface, this product will save time and ease in the clean up after painting. It is approved for use on Lexan by G.E. PLASTICS, endorsed by BOBRICK and VOC COMPLIANT with 2001 Federal EPA LAWS. This water-based, biodegradable paint remover can be used on wet paint, dried latex paint, wood stains and all surfaces safely including Carpet, Clothes, Upholstery, Brick and Concrete.
Well your couch that is a chair is toast. Good luck
You have to remove the old upholstery anyway to reupholster it.
If your going to reupholster it; there is no need to take the paint off the previous upholstery
there is paint stripper but that is usually only used on wood or you could try drenching the chair in "oops"!!!
