Why flat panels television keep getting cheaper ?

1. Newer models coming out with added features can only sell for a highest price, beyond this price it will not sell. Setting the New Model at this price forces lesser & older models to a lower price.
2. All electonics come down in price as technology advances toward nano-electronics. It cost very little to produce 1000 televisions, for example, and there is little increase in cost to produce 10,000. The more that are manufactored the cheaper they can sell for, assuming they all sell.
supply and demand.. out with the old in with the new... the new 1080p makes the 1080i cheaper. just read that LG is cutting production on screens by closing a plant.. looks like they are going to slow down the price drops
Everything starts of with a hefty price tag,its a good way of makeing profit,unfortunatly that includes flat panel televisions
