I love the French style. I want to do my daughter's bedroom in that style, with mint green, white and baby pink roses. I get all my furniture at yard sales and off ebay. It is amazing what people throw out. Just a dash of white or cream paint and sand the edges and WOW! Antique created by ME! www.furnitureontheweb.com has the metal framed white daybeds but they are expensive - about $300 - $400. I'd definitely advertise in the local paper or go yard sales. It is amazing the beautiful old chairs you can find at charity shops as well. They are really cheap and the mismatched look suits the french style.
