Are orange, yellow, and green good room colors?
Question:I'm 13 and I'm getting a new room in a new house so I have to start from scratch. I want to paint my walls a medium orange, and the accesories and bedding I would want yellow and light green. Do you think this will look ok?

I think the color combination sounds great. But I think that I would consider yellow for the wall. Orange is a really tricky color to paint. You know that the color will look different at different times of the day. What you like at 8 a.m. you may hate at 2 p.m. If you really think you want orange, pick a color and buy a quart. Put a splash of it on all 4 walls and see how you like it through the day for a week. Good luck and happy decorating.

I think that you will get tired of that color combination quickly. How about a soft yellow green or chartreuse? Martha Stewart has paint in a very nice shade of that green.

Make sure it is not too bright! Don't use earthy tones, go more for pale versions of the colors.
All of the major fast food restaurants used to be painted in those colors inside. You know why? Because research proved that people were slightly uncomfortable with that color combination, and so it made them eat and run. Fast food! That way people wouldn't hang out in the restaurant for too long.
i dont think that green and orange go great together.... but they could work..... my fav colors are green pink and blue so thats what i would paint my room... i think that if you go with the orange walls you should get yellow or pink stuff and if you really want yellow and green beding and stuff i think that you should go with a diffrent color then orange.. like blue.. i really dont like orange and green together..
well that sounds okay,the orange should look like a soft gental peach colour if its going to blend with your other things ,but you know what.Why dont you try on a small patch of the wall the mild orange and mke it lighter and see which you prefer best.
I think those are fun, tropical colors. The green should be a lime shade.

Orange is not so good for Room color.. but a combination of light green and yellow is good for beddings.
