How To Estimate or Bidding for Building Construction?
Question:
Answers:
It depends on your industry and the type of construction you do (new vs. remodel; commercial vs. resi, etc.). The Bluebook Cost Guide is a good resource. There are software programs out there - they can be quite expensive, but worth it if you have the volume. Many resources are industry-specific. For example, Mike Holt is the electrical industry expert, and I know he has seminars, and book/audio/DVD training materials.
take the total floor measurement, and multiply that into a predetermined amount which will of course depends on what kind of finishing the owner would like to have. for a crude finish it would be about 800USD per square meter, that is from scratch. For a really nice finish it would be about USD3,000.00 per square meter.
