interior decorator? But they don't usually paint. They will bring in ppl that will paint etc for them. Or an Organizer? did i come close 2 what u'r thinking? :)

That would generally be a painter, or a painting contractor. A decorator would be the one to help you pull the look of the room together, though - usually they're two different people.
Perhaps he is a carpenter because a carpenter can do a little bit of everything.painting, construction, landscaping, etc., and has the knowlege of who to call if he can't handle all of your needs. Just remember to make certain that the person that you hire is insured, therefore, their work will be guarenteed in case it is not to your liking!!
