Can any-one recommend a really good thick undercoat that will hide imperfections?
Question:These are just minor imperfections and have been sanded back as best as I can. If you run your finger over it the surface is smooth but some areas have a different level of paint on them which you can feel.
Answers:
as long as you prime and paint well it should be fine the only other thing is use a flat paint as your top coat it will hid the imperfections much better if you went over top with a semi gloss it really makes any imperfections stand out like and eye-sore... now if you like you can always add a texture sand to the paint and that will cover a great deal of issues on the wall it all depends on the look your going for anyways good luck with the walls
dulux professional undercoat is really good, you can get it from b & q and it costs about 9 pounds.
kilz primer works great to!
